Meet on medical electronics on Mar 17
Chennai, Mar 15 (UNI) The National Conference on Advances in Medical Electronics-2006 (NCAME-2006), a seminar to be held here on March 17, will provide a common platform for engineers, doctors,scientists and technologists to interact and exchange the latest developments in medical electronics and biomedical engineering fields.
Organised by the city-based Shree Mothilal Kanhaiyalal Fomra Institute of Technology (SMK Fomra), the day-long seminar will focus on Medical Instrumentation, Medical Imaging, Image Procession and Pattern Recognition, Digital Bio-signal Processing, Radiation Physics and Medical Equipment Management, a press release here today said.
The conference will be inaugurated by Dr G Ravindran, Director, Center for Medical Electronics, Anna University and the valedictory function addressed by Dr V Purushothaman, Professor and Head of the department of of Microbiology, Madras Veterinary College.
The Conference will feature 20 important paper presentations by students, research scholars and faculty of various colleges across the country.
More than 100 students and faculty are expected to participate from across the country.
