I will not buckle under the pressure of any lobby: Kumaraswamy
Bangalore, Mar 15 (UNI) Karnataka Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy today asserted that the JD(S)-BJP coalition government would not buckle under the pressure exerted by any lobby and would carry on with its work.
Reacting to reports that he had unceremoniously removed Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Managing Director K N Srivatsava under the pressure exerted by the lobby favouring introduction of Monorail, he told newspersons here ''No lobby can purchase this government.'' He said the Metro Rail project did not have any starting trouble and the Government was committed to its implementation on schedule. ''We will not go back on the project,'' he asserted.
