Five drowned in two separate incidents
Mumbai, Mar 15 (UNI) As many as five people drowned in two separate incidents in the city today.
Police said in the first incident, two people had gone for a swim at Prem Nagar Chowpatty, Malabar Hills in south Mumbai, when the incident occurred.
The deceased were identified as Aakash Bhuvad (12) and Ganesh Satavadekar (22), whose bodies had been recovered, police said and added that a case has been registered.
In another incident, a group of five to six people had gone for a swim at Marve beach, Malad in north Mumbai, when three of them drowned.
They were identified as Jayesh Goyal, Bhavera Goyal and Rakesh Jetwa, police said and added that a case has been registered by Malvani police.
