Coordination Committee to monitor K'taka govt
Bangalore, Mar 15: Karnataka Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy today (Mar 15, 2006) announced that a six-member Coordination Committee had been formed to ensure the smooth running of the JD(S)-BJP coalition government in the state.
Talking to reporters here, he said the Committee comprised three members each from the JD (S) and the BJP.
Besides Mr Kumaraswamy, the other JD (S) members in the Committee would be Party State President, to be announced shortly, and Mr Iqbal Ansari, while the BJP would be represented by its National General Secretary H N Ananthkumar, Deputy Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa and the State BJP President, to be announced on March 17 after the BJP National Executive in New Delhi.
