Bus driver falls victim to mob anger

Raichur, Mar 15 (UNI) In a shocking incident, irate passengers of a bus have allegedly beaten to death its driver and injured its conductor after the vehicle met with an accident on the state highway near Neermani village in this district of Karnataka.

According to reports received here, the driver, Babu, in a drowsy condition, had lost control over the bus last night and dashed it against a tree.

Though no one was injured in the mishap, some irate passengers had allegedly assaulted the bus crew, killing the driver on the spot.
