Bangalore, Mar 15 (UNI) Following is a summary of observations recorded here at 0830 hours today.

The rainfall occurred at isolated places over South Interior Karnataka and dry weather prevailed over Coastal Karnataka and North Interior Karnataka.

The chief rainfall amounts (cm): Hoskote 3 and Bangalore Airport one.

Maximum temperatures rose at a few places over North Interior Karnataka and changed little over Coastal Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka. They were above normal at a few places over North Interior Karnataka and were normal over Coastal Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka.

Minimum temperatures fell at a few places over North Interior Karnataka and changed little over Coastal Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka. They were appreciably below normal at most places being markedly so at a few places over North Interior Karnataka; below normal at a few places over Coastal Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka.

Bellary recorded highest maximum temperature of 35.1 degree celsius and Belgaum Airport recorded lowest minimum temperature of 13.5 degree celsius over the State.
