AP to construct largest commercial complex in Hyderabad

Hyderabad, , Mar 15 (UNI) In a bid to woo the international traders to set up their firm and attract more foreign investments, the State Government has decided to construct 80- storey commercial complex here, the largest ever in the country.

The Government has already alloted 100 acres of land to the AP Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (APIIC) at Manchirevu village located on the outskirts of the city, named as 'commercial district', where the biggest complex would be erected to promote the city as international hub for trade.

A high-level delegation of APIIC has already visited the world's largest 'Patronas towers' in Malaysia and studied its business activities, it would also visit 'Siyers Towers'of Chicago. APIIC Chairman A Rambabu told newspersons that the Government was discussing the proiect with varions Consultancies for technical assistance.

He said Capital Fortunes consultancy was working on the project to evolve preliminary plans for the complex and added that it would submit its report in three months.

The Government would invite global tenders for the project and the construction plan would be finalised in a year, he added.
