Spl women police force to deal with rapes

New Delhi, Mar 13 (UNI) In the wake of the murder of two Delhi High Court women lawyers here March 13, a demand was made in the Lok Sabha for a special women police force on March 14.

This force should deal with rape cases only, Shailendra Kumar (SP) said as he mentioned yesterday's killings and the rise in crimes against women.

He was speaking at a debate on the demand for grants under the control of the Ministry of Home Affairs for 2006-07.
