Talitemjen new CIC

Kohima, Mar 14 (UNI) Nagaland Governor Shyamal Datta today administered the oath of office and secrecy to the first Chief Information Commissioner (CIC) to P.Talitemjen Ao along with two others State Information Commissioners.

In a simple function at the Raj Bhavan here today Mr Datta administered the oath to Mr Talitemjen as cic, Rev. Dr W.Phonsing Konyak and Dr Kuhoi Zhimomi as the State Information Commissioners of Nagaland under the Right to Information Act, 2005.

Earlier, as per decision of the Nagaland Cabinet of Ministers, Mr Datta appointed all the three persons to the newly created posts under the act.

Speaking after the swearing in ceremony Mr Talitemjen told newsmen that it was only the beginning to implement the RTI in the state.
