Ayodhya, Mar 15: Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) Working President Ashok Singhal yesterday (Mar 14, 2006) asked the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to act on Hindutva rather than paying 'lip service' on cultural philosophy.

Addressing newspersons here, Mr Singhal said the best way the BJP could shed its secular garb and reinforce its Hindu credentials, was by directing its state governments to practically deliver on the significant cultural philosophy of Hindutva.

Mr Singhal further added that the VHP will organise a 'Sarvadev Anushthan' here from March 30 for the construction of Ram temple at Ayodhya.
