Ruling SP MLA wounded in firing

Lucknow, Mar 14 (UNI) Ruling Samajwadi Party MLA Madan Singh Gautam and a few others were wounded in firing during a clash in Ajitmal area of Auraiyya district in Uttar Pradesh today.

State police headquarters sources confirmed here that the legislator was wounded in firing.

However, the reason behind the clash was still not known.

Senior police officials had rushed to the spot.
