Munch Design Workshop to design for Orsay

Bangalore, Mar 14 (UNI) Munch Design Workshop, an apparel designer, will provide Indian designs for leading international fashion brand ORSAY.

The 30-year-old ORSAY, part of the French Mulliez Group, had more than 400 shops across eight European countries, catering to young fashion-conscious women.

According to a Munch Design Workshop release here today, the collaboration was a tri-partite agreement between Orsay (buyer), Munch Design Workshop (design company) and Francis Wacziarg (FW) Agencies (buying agent). Based on a design brief from Orsay, Munch would propose ideas, design lines and work with FW to convert it into a commercial product.

Munch Design Workshop CEO and Principal Designer Karunesh Vohra said the collaboration had proved that Indian design capability was of global standards and this was being accepted by the global community.
