Minor strangulated over land dispute

Lakhimpur Kheri, Mar 14 (UNI) A minor boy was murdered by a man, allegedly over a long pending land dispute in the Paurahara area here.

Police said here today that Santram strangulated Anuj (5) in the Gulari Purwa village late last night. A long pending land dispute between Santram and Anuj's father Ramguni was suspected to be the reason behind the crime, police added.

A manhunt has been launched to nab Santram.
