Lawyers' murder: police seize cars of visitors to the victims

New Delhi, Mar 14 (UNI) Making some headway in Saturday's Siddhartha Enclave double murder case of the lawyer duo of 73-year-old Swarana Mahajan and her 48-year-old daughter Anuratha, the Delhi police today claimed have recovered two cars, one in which Anuratha left the house on the fateful evening and the other used by two people who visited the victims ahead of their murder.

While the Maruti car in which Ms Anuratha left her house on the Saturday evening was seized by the Delhi Police from Noida yesterday afternoon, the second car was recovered from Saharanpur in Uttar Pradesh today by a team of the Delhi Police officials who went there in connection with the murder investigation, DCP South Anil Shukla said.

Teams have also been sent to various places in Uttar Pradesh to search for any possible clues.

DCP Shukla said the owner of the two cars were being questioned by the police about their movements on Saturday, to establish any possible connection with the murder.
