Judicial inquiry on rape, molestation cases: CM
Imphal, Mar 14 (UNI) The Manipur cabinet has decided to conduct an independent judicial inquiry on the alleged molestation on M Naobi during her detention in police custody for 10 days.
The inquiry would also cover the alleged rape on 21 girls by suspected militants at Churachandpur district in January.
Chief Minister Okram Ibobi Singh, in an official release, said the cabinet has decided to conduct the inquiry under a competent High Court judge from outside the state.
