Iranian delegation leaves Moscow after Nuke talks
Moscow, Mar 14: The Iranian delegation led by Supreme National Security Council deputy secretary Ali Hosseini-Tash today (Mar 14, 2006) left here after holding talks aimed at setting up a joint venture on Russian territory to enrich uranium for Tehran.
Russian Security Council secretary Igor Ivanov led his country's delegation at the talks.
The press service of the Russian Security Council told Interfax news agency, ''Such consultations will continue in the future.'' Russia wanted the Iranian nuclear problem to be settled by diplomatic means with the use of the International Atomic Energy Agency's (IAEA) potential, it said.
''Russia confirmed its desire to settle the problem diplomatically with the use of the IAEA,'' the agency added.
