Gram Pradhan held for sheltering dacoits

Mahoba, Mar 14 (UNI) The Special Task Force (STF) of Uttar Pradesh police today arrested a gram pradhan from the Srinagar village here, on charges of sheltering dacoits.

Police said here today as part of a special drive against the dreaded Panchu gang, the STF arrested gram pradhan Shiv Kumar Rajput and one Chaman Mohammed for providing shelter to the gang mebers.

Agitated over the arrest, supporters of the gram pradhan blocked the Kanpur-Sagar national highway.
