Dacoits loot property worth lakhs of rupees, 4 injured

Mahoba, Mar 14 (UNI) Over 12 armed dacoits have looted property worth lakhs of rupees from a house in the Jaitpur area after injuring four people of a family, inluding two women.

Police said here today that armed dacoits barged into the house of Suraj Kachi last night and started looting valuables. When the family resisted their attempt, the dacoits severly beat up and injured Suraj, his son Lakshami, Ramkali and Rajkumari.

The dacoits later decamped with cash and valuables worth several lakhs of rupees, police added.

Further investigations were on.
