Court issues NBW against ten Youth Congress leaders

Srikalahasti, Andhra Pradesh Mar 14(UNI) The Additional District Munsiff Court has issued non-bailable warrants(NBW) against ten youth Congress leaders, including Srikalahasteswar temple trust board Chairman Kola Anand and other members of the trust in connection with burning an ''effigy'' of former Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, during the TDP rule in Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh.

During Telegu Desam rule in 2004, the accused had burnt an effigy of Mr Naidu.

Meanwhile, police have registered cases against ten Youth Congress leaders, including Mr Anand and other board members - Rajendra Prasad and Chintamani- District Youth Congress President K Eswar Reddy.

The Court had issued the NBWS yesterday as they did not appear in the court for hearing.
