CM, Governor call for unity and progress in Goa on Holi eve

Panaji, Mar 14 (UNI) Governor S C Jamir and Chief Minister Pratapsinh Rane today greeted the people of Goa on the eve of Holi.

In his message, the Governor, said the festival of colours should be widely celebrated in a joyful spirit of friendship and mutual understanding throughout the country. This occasion helps promote social solidarity and cultural integration.

Chief Minister Pratapsingh Rane urged the people of the State to rededicate themselves to promoting unity and integrity and asked them to overcome evil with good and set a shining example for other states to follow.

Goa, he said, has had a long tradition where people of all communities have lived together in peaceful harmony. This should be maintained at all costs for progress and prosperity of the country.
