CBI prosecutor arrested for leaking department information
Mumbai, Mar 14 (UNI) Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) Prosecutor R R Dwivedi was arrested this evening on charges of leaking vital departmental information to the concerned parties.
CBI Deputy Inspector Genral (DIG) Kiran Jadhav told UNI that Dwivedi and a CBI constable in the court of Additional Sessions Judge S R Mehra were involved in passing on vital information to the parties for monetary benefit.
Mr Jadhav said constable Vijay Prabhu was arrested yesterday and remanded to police custoday till March 23 by Addtional Sessions Judge M R Bhatkar.
During his interrogation, Prabhu revealed Dwivedi's name following which he was arrested this evening, Mr Jadhav said.
