Cabinet to be reshuffled
Aizawl, Mar 14: The Zoramthanga ministry in Mizoram is likely to be reshuffled after the end of the current Assembly session.
Official sources said here today that Mr Zoramthanga was obligated to change his ministers since he had promised a reshuffle when he had to downsize his ministry in 2004.
When Parliament passed the Act prohibiting jumbo ministries, Zoramthanga had to drop two of his ministers.
With half of the current term nearly over, there is a clear signal of a change of guard.
There are speculations that Z H Ropuia and K Sangthuama, two junior ministers, might axed.
Senior cabinet minister Lalrinchhana may also have to make way.
Speculations are also doing the rounds that another cabinet colleague H Rammawi may also be dropped from the ministry.
