Abandoned car has no link to south Delhi double murder
Dehradun, 14 Mar: The possibility of an abandoned car, found at Roorkee bus stand, having a link to the murder of the two women lawyers in south Delhi on Sunday (Mar 12, 2006), ended after its owner identified it.
According to Roorkee police station in-charge, Kailash Panwar, the car had no links with the double murder of advocates. He told sources that the police, after taking the car in their custody, found out the owner to be a Delhi resident.
''We managed to talk to his wife, who identified it and said her husband had taken it to Haridwar and abandoned it due to some reason,'' he said.
Haridwar SSP Abhinav Kumar, when contacted, said he had no information of the incident.
