AAI pays interim dividend of Rs 40 crore for 05-06
New Delhi, Mar 14 (UNI) The Airports Authority of India (AAI) today paid an interim dividend of Rs 40 crore for the year 2005-06.
The cheque was handed over to minister of state for civil aviation Praful Patel by AAI chairman K Ramalingam in presence of senior officials.
During the half year ended September 5, the AAI earned profit after tax of Rs 201 crore on a revenue of Rs 1,519 crore.
The AAI owns and manages nearly 124 airports across the country.
In 04-05, the AAI had earned a profit after tax of Rs 325.38 crore on a revenue of Rs 2,999.66 crore.
