23-year-old man arrested in rape case

New Delhi, Mar 14 (UNI) Police today arrested a 23-year-old man for allegedly raping a teenager in Central Delhi yesterday.

DCP (Central Delhi) Neeraj Thakur said Amit was arrested in the Turkman Gate area where he had allegedly raped the 16-year-old girl.

''He was named in the FIR by the victim... and after arrest he has been sent to Tihar jail,'' he added.
