Wipro Infotech wins best SAP APA channel partner award

Bangalore, Mar 13 (UNI) Wipro Infotech, a leading provider of IT solutions and services, has received the ''Best SAP APA Channel Partner--mySAP All-In-One Target over Achiever'' Award.

With this accolade, Wipro had now become a leading partner of SAP globally and in India for the Small and Midsize Enterprise (SME) segment, Wipro Infotech said in a release here today.

''We appreciate Wipro Infotech's motivation and drive to achieve this remarkable result which has contributed significantly to our SME business. They have played an important role in India and the APA region by developing good capabilities to deliver quick time and effective micro-vertical solutions to the growing companies in the SME space,'' the release said, quoting Mr Srinivas Rao, Executive Sponsor of SAP's SMB Business in India.

One of the products developed by Wipro on the SAP platform was the templatized solution called ''QuickStart'' - the ready to use SAP solution based on ySAP All-in-one framework. QuickStart could cut costs by 40 per cent and implementation work by 30 per cent when compared to conventional ERP deployments. The solution could automate business critical processes in a short duration and incorporates industry best practices, the release said.

Mr Rajat Mathur, Chief Executive- Business Solutions and Head-International Operations, Wipro Infotech, said his company had started the SAP SME initiative 18 months back with an innovative pre-configured template-based implementation approach.
