Usha launches products

Hyderabad, Mar 13 (UNI) Usha International Ltd, one of India's leading consumer durable marketing companies, has unveiled aggressive plans to strengthen its leadership position in the market.

With the launch of new products in a range of categories - fans, sewing machines, home appliances power products, water coolers/dispensers and auto components, Usha international promised to take huge steps to consolidate its leadership position this year, a company release here today said.

''In fans, Usha is growing at a rate faster than the organised fan industry and thus gaining market shares. In sewing machines, Usha has achieved a speactacular 72 per cent increase in sales over last year with all segments recording impressive growth,'' the release said.

''Keeping in view the growing demand of bottled water, Usha was launching water dispensers in two models - one with a refrigerator and one with a storage cabinet,'' it added.
