UP Guv welcomes move to appoint PCS cadre officers as DM

Lucknow, Mar 13 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Governor T V Rajeswar today welcomed the state government move of appointing PCS cadre officers as District Magistrates.

''Appointing PCS cadre officers as DMs was commendable,'' said Mr Rajeswar.

The Governor further said that even the IAS officers should welcome the initiative.
