Ultra girls produced before court

Purlia, Mar 13 (UNI) Two suspected ultra girls were were produced in Purulia court under Sec 164(3) for confessional statement today.

Bimala Sardar and Suleka Mahato were arrested at Belpahari in West Midnapore on February 7 last.

Cheif Judicial magistrate incharge Ataur Rehman deferred the case for tomorrow. Both the girls have been sent to Purulia district Correctional home this afternoon with an unprecedented security cover in apprehension of maoist attacks.

The CID has brought evidence of their involvement in the killing of Rabindra Kaur, a senior CPI(M) secretariat member of Purulia district and his wife at their residence at Bhomragara village in Bandwan police station on December 30.
