Two persons in train-tractor collision

Bagha(Bihar), Mar 13 (UNI) Two people were killed and another person was injured when a speeding train collided with a tractor at an unmanned railway crossing under Valmiki Nagar-Narkatiaganj section of the Samastipur rail division today.

Railway sources said that 5273 UP Satyagrah Express coming from New Delhi rammed into a tractor at an unmanned railway crossing near Awsani Halt resulting in two labourers death. All of them were on the tractor.

The victims were identified as Banarsi Mahto and Dhruv Bind. The injured labourer has been admitted to a local hospital.

Train movements were disrupted following the accident and efforts were on to clear the track for early restoration of the train services, sources added.
