Two JKP workers shot dead

Midnapur, Mar 13 (UNI) Two Jharkhand party (JKP) workers were gunned down allegedly by CPI(M) activists today in Kapasita village in Jamboni thana under Jhargram Subdivision, police said.

The victims identified as Kali Mandi (48) and Badal Besra (40) were returning to their village after attending a 'sradha' ceremony last night when six to seven masked men attacked them with guns.

Both the victims died on the spot. Efforts were on to nab the miscreants, police said.
