Teacher arrested; sent to jail for trying to rape a student

Lohardaga, Mar 13 (UNI) A teacher of Jogna Jawahar Vidyalaya Kanak Kumar Giri in the district was arrested for attempting to rape a class seven girl and sent to jail today.

Police arrested the maths teacher last evening on a complain lodged by the student, according to superintendent of police Manoj Kumar.
