Teacher arrested for trying to rape a student

Lohardaga, Mar 13 (UNI) A teacher of Jogna Jawahar Vidyalaya Kanak Kumar Giri in the district was arrested for attempting to rape a class seven student, police said today.

The teacher, who was arrested last evening on a complaint lodged by the girl, was sent to jail today, Superintendent of Police Manoj Kumar said.
