Shekhawat greets people on Holi eve

New Delhi, Mar 13 (UNI) Vice President Bhairon Singh Shekhawat has greeted the people on occasion of the festival of colours, Holi.

Holi marks the onset of spring, the king of seasons, during which the nature was at its splendorous best. The mood of gaiety and enthusiasm was captured in the colours of Holi as also in its festivities, he said in a statement today.

''Let us all celebrate the festival of Holi in the true spirit of universal brotherhood and social harmony.'' May this festival fill the lives of all our people, especially the poor and the deprived, with the colours of spring bringing to them peace, prosperity and happiness, he added.
