Sahara Computers launches new range of digital cameras

New Delhi, Mar 13 (UNI) Aiming high on the lifestyle products market in India, South Africa-based Sahara Computers and Electronics Ltd (SCEL) today launched two new models of digital cameras in the country.

The new models, 4SC1 and 5SC1, are priced at Rs 11,999 and Rs 14,999 respectively.

SCEL is a joint venture between Sahara India Pariwar and Sahara Computers (Pty) Ltd, South Africa.

The two new models of Sahara digicams are targeted at those who are looking for new age digital camera, prefer superior performance, user-friendly features and stylish products.

Talking about the new products, SCEL chief operating officer George Van Der Merwe said, ''Interesting trends in the market today indicate, users growing acceptance of alternative high end technology that delivers both performance as well as the price advantage. Both these products launched today are in line with our continuing commitment of providing innovative solutions to meet consumer's needs.'' The 4S features 8X digital zoom, 3X optical zoom and up to 6.2 mega pixels. This model encompasses a 2.0-inch LTPS colour LCD screen for easy viewing and rechargeable batteries.

The 5S is equipped with auto focus 8X digital zoom, 3X optical zoom and up to 8.0 mega pixels. The digicam boasts a 2.0-inch LTPS colour LCD screen for easy viewing and rechargeable batteries.
