Rapist sentenced to 7 years RI

Bhuj, Mar 13 (UNI) Fast Track Court judge M T Bhatt today sentenced a youth, Yusuf Daud Lohar (24) of Gundiada village in Mandvi taluka of Kutch district, to seven years of rigorous imprisonment holding him guilty of raping a woman.

According to the prosecution, Yusuf had enticed the victim belonging to the nearby Durgapur village of the same Mandvi taluka, to a lonely place and raped her on January 31, 2001.
