Melbourne, Mar 13 (UNI) With the memory of the 1994 Canada Commonwealth Games still eteched in memory, Australian officials are clueless about what to do if their indigenous athletes celebrates with Aboriginal flags at the 18th edition of the Games.

The official Australian team for the Games includes at least three high-profile indigenous athletes -- Joshua Ross, Patrick Johnson and Kyle Van Der Kuyp.

Australian chef-de-mission John Devitt said he had no idea what would be done if the flag controversy recurs here.

''No one knows until it happens. At present, we haven't had to negotiate anything on that matter and I don't see any reason why it would raise its head.'' Commonwealth Games Minister Justin Madden, however, seemed unperturbed by such a prospect and rather ready to live with it.

''If they feel the need to celebrate in an appropriate way to reflect the community that supported them, I think that would add to the value of the Games,'' he said.
