Naxalites release six policemen
Jagdalpur, Chhattisgarh, Mar 13 (UNI) Six police jawans, who were abducted by Naxalites from Dantewada district of Chhattisgarh yesterday, were released unharmed early this morning, police said.
Police sources said three jawans of Special Armed Force and three others of the district police, who were released from captivity at Polanpalli village at 0300 hrs, reached Dornapal police station.
The Naxalites, abducted them from Chitalnagar village.
While releasing the police personnel, the Naxalites warned that the state government should forthwith call off the 'Salwa Judum' campaign launched against the naxal movement and also stop patrolling, police added.
