''Nation is proud of you'', Lok Sabha tells Kumble

New Delhi, Mar 13 (UNI) Lok Sabha today complimented spinner Anil Kumble for his ''outstanding performance'' in the ongoing test match at Mohali, saying ''the nation is proud of you''.

In a congratulatory message, Lok Sabha Speaker Somnath Chatterjee said the MPs who conveyed their ''best wishes'' to Kumble for capturing 500 wickets, expected him to touch further heights.

At the beginning of the question hour, Mr Chatterjee said ''We are very happy for his extraordinary feat.'' He said BCCI president Sharad Pawar also deserved compliments for the great achievement.

Interestingly, at the end of the quesiton hour, Mr Chatterjee announced that England were all out at 181.
