Moderate quake in Afghanistan

New Delhi, Mar 13 (UNI) A moderate quake hit Afghanistan this afternoon.

The earthquake, measuring 5.3 on the Richter Scale, occurred at 1535 hrs, India Meteorological Department said here.

Its epicentre was in the Hindu Kush mountains in Northern Afghanistan.
