Maharashtra committed to resolve boundary dispute: Krishna
Mumbai, Mar 13 (UNI) The Maharashtra government is committed to resolve the long pending boundary dispute with neighbouring Karnataka, Governor S M Krishna told a joint sitting of the state Legislature on the opening day of the budget session here today.
Mr Krishna, a former Karnataka Chief Minister, said the state government has filed the special civil suit under article 131 (b) of the constitution in the Supreme court to solve the decades old dispute.
''I reiterate that my government is committed to resolve the dispute,'' he added.
