K'taka Governor greets Indian cricket team

Bangalore, Mar 13 (UNI) Karnataka Governor T N Chaturvedi greeted the Indian cricket team for winning the second test against England at Mohali today.

In a message here, he said Bangalorean ace leggie Anil Kumble, who achieved an important milestone by crossing the 500 test wicket mark and who won the Man of the Match award, merited a word of special appreciation.

''I heartily congratulate Captain Rahul Dravid and his team mates on the emphatic victory that the Indian team posted against England cricket team in the second test of the series,'' he added.
