Journalists are not on priority in housing

Jammu Mar 13 (UNI) Journalists are not a priority for providing housing for the Jammu and Kashmir government and it does not have any plan for contruction of housing colonies for them, state Urban and Housing Minister Tariq Hamid Qarra told the House today.

The question was raised by Mohammed Khalil band who asked the government if it has any plans to contruct housing colonies at Zainakote in Srinagar and elsewhere in Jammu for the editors, correspondents and other journalists affiliated with newspappers.

Mr Qarra in his reply, told the House there was no such proposal under consideration now.
