JK government to set up delimitation and finance commissions

Jammu Mar 13 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir government today said it would constitute delimitation and finance commissions in the state.

Replying to a question in the Assembly, Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad said, the common minimum programme of the coalition government has accorded due consideration to setting up of delimitaton commission, as well as Wazir commission's recommendations in accordance with the law.

''The constitution of the state finance commission is also under consideration in view of the committments given by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh,'' he said.
