Indian Bank defeats Tollygunge 1-0

Bangalore, Mar 13 (UNI) Indian Bank defeated Tollygunge Agragami 1-0 in the second division ONGC Cup 10th National Football League here today.

The lone goal came in the 14th minute when striker Kanagaraj netted the ball, encashing a pass from Gregory Clark.

The bankmen had an upper hand throughout the match as the Kolkatan outfit was no match for their defence. Tollygunge striker Abdul Rauf Khan missed a chance to score the equaliser in the 81st minute as it was superbly scuttled by Kanagaraj.

With this win, Indian Bank bagged three points to take its tally to seven from five matches, thanks to two wins and a draw, while Tollygunge continued to remain at the bottom of the table with only one point from five matches.
