India to be hub of IT operations for GalaxE.Solutions

Bangalore, Mar 13 (UNI) GalaxE.Solutions, a leader in designing and deploying business processes and supporting systems that enable clients to transact and share information across internal networks and over internet, today announced that India would be the hub of activity for its IT operations.

The company, with offices in New York, Toronto and Bangalore, would be transferring to Bangalore and Toronto significant high-value work, including Service Oriented Architecture, Service Level Management related Solution Development work which traditionally would have been done at the customers' premise, according to a company release here.

The company announced that there would be a 100 per cent increase in headcount in Bangalore to form a ratio of 1:3 for the on-site/ off-shore mix. It currently employed over 100 employees at its development centre here.

Company President and COO Gangopadhyay said ''there is no doubt that India will be the hub of IT activity. Most of the clients that we serve require the off-shore operations in Bangalore to be augmented by on-shore and near-shore teams as well.
