Haryana bans sale of fertilizer of Rajasthan based company

Chandigarh, Mar 13 (UNI) Haryana Agriculture Department has banned the sale of Single Super Phosphate (SSP) manufactured and marketed by M/s Arihant Phosphate and Fertilizer Ltd in the state with immediate effect.

While stating this, here today, a spokesman of the Department said that the decision to withdaw the permission for the sale of SSP has been taken by Agriculture Director R K Khullar following an intimation received from the Rajasthan government that authorisation of M/s Arihant Phosphate and Fertilizer Ltd had been cancelled because of violation of clause 19 of Fertilizer (Control) Order,1985.

He said all Deputy Directors of Agricluture Department in Haryana had been asked not to allow the sale of SSP manufactured by this firm.
