Fresh FIR against Shahabuddin

Siwan(Bihar), Mar 13 (UNI) An FIR was today lodged against incarcerated RJD MP Mohammad Shahabuddin for allegedly making threat calls to Siwan's district president of extremely backward committee Vishwakarma Chauhan.

According to the police, Mr Chauhan had lodged FIR against RJD leader with Town police station alleging the latter had made a telephonic call on his mobile phone on March 11 asking him to withdraw from the bidding for liquor business of the Siwan district.

Mohammad Shahabuddin had also allegedly asked him not to field his brother in the coming local bodies elections, police added.

Mr Chauhan was reportedly directed by the RJD leader to contact Abhay Kumar Tunna, another liquor businessman and follow his wishes.

Mr Chauhan in the FIR had apprehended that an attempt on his life could be made by the RJD leader.
