Fortune magazine ranks Intuit no.1 among US software cos

Bangalore, Mar 13 (UNI) Intuit Inc, a leading business and financial management solutions provider, today announced that it has been ranked Fortune magazine's number one 'Most Admired Software Company in the United States', for the second consecutive year.

Fortune magazine and its survey partners compiled this annual list by asking executives, directors and security analysts to rate companies with the largest revenues in 65 industries on eight key attributes -- innovation, employee talent, financial soundness, management, use of corporate assets, social responsibility, long-term investment and product quality, a company release here said.

''Fortune's recognition of Intuit as 'America's Most Admired Software Company' is a huge honour, reiterating what we stand for as a company,'' Intuit's Country Manager in India Nilesh Thakker said.

In January, Intuit was ranked 43 on the Fortune '100 Best Companies To Work For' list in America, the release added.
