Five injured in stone pelting during bandh
Bangalore, Mar 13 (UNI) Five people, including a police inspector, were injured in stone pelting during a bandh, organised by the Sangh RSS in protest against the bomb blasts in Varanasi, at Mulbagil town in Kolar district today, police said.
Thousands of activists took out a protest march condemning the terrorist act. Some miscreants indulged in stone pelting during the procession, injuring five people. Police had to resort to lathicharge to disperse the violent mob.
All shops and business establishments remained closed during the bandh.
Kolar district administration have passed prohibitory orders under section 144 of CrPC for the next three days in the town.
